Tamil VS Spartans
-The Spartans died out many years ago, but the Tamil are still an existing and thriving community.
-The Spartan's culture was based mostly off of war and battle, while the Tamil not so much.
-The Spartans religion was Greco-Roman polytheism while the Tamil's religion is Hinduism.
-The Spartans family where nuclear, while the Tamil's where extended.
-The Right of Passage for the Spartans was much longer then the right of passage for the Tamil.

-The Masai have a very elaborate right of passage, one that is held every fifteen years, while the Tamil's is quite shorter
-The Masai's funerary custom is a lot different the the Tamils, as the Masai leave the person their to rot, unless they where of high standing, and the Tamil burn every person, no matter who they where.
-The Masai are semi-nomadic, while the Tamil prefer to stick to one place.
-The Masai have clans, rather then whole families, and the children of a clan are raised by the whole village, not just by their biological family.
-The education of the Masai is a lot different then the Tamil, as the young are taught by the elders in the Masai clans, unlike the schools the Tamil have.
-All Masai males are enlisted in the military, while the Tamil males live a relatively free life.
-The Masai culture is under pressure to change their ways by surrounding countires. The Tamil have not had that much of a problem.
